Brett MacCannell
Director of Training
Brett MacCannell started with AIL on Thanksgiving Day 2002 and was promoted to Supervising Agent just 6 months later. By March of 2004 he was promoted to Regional General Agent in multiple territories. His passion for the growth has led Brett from coast to coast and across international borders, beginning in British Columbia, and having significant influences in Ontario and Alberta, before jumping to the USA and running operations in Alaska, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Before joining AIL, Brett has always been an entrepreneur sharing stories of building a wooden wagon to haul around a lawnmower when he was 12 years old for his own lawn care business. He has an Honors Degree in Urban Planning/City Design and a minor in Journalism/Business Management from the University of Western, in London.
Brett finds his inspiration from his family who are very close to him, and ultimately his mother who passed away in January 2007 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. "My mother taught me so well how to treat others with respect and admiration” and from my father I learned “to do it right the first time, or don’t do it at all.”
In January of 2012 Brett was appointed to Director of Training with Altig, and will continue to make significant impact in the growth of the company for many years ahead. |
