Altig Director of Leadership Development
Todd joined AIL in 2006, after being personally recruited by his good friend AIL SGA Dustin Venekamp. “After attending Baylor University for Business Administration and Psychology, I knew I wanted to be successful and have a great financial future. Dustin was the most successful person I knew - I jumped at the opportunity.”
Success immediately took root for Todd. Within his first 90 days, he was appointed to MGA, earning $19,000 his first month as a leader. Within his next 90 days, Todd was appointed to RGA, and soon after that, chosen to open Chicago as a new territory.
Todd quickly discovered his passion for developing others. “I love the culture of Altig because they take people from diverse backgrounds and put them into a system that allows them to grow towards their goals through personal mentorship.” For two years, he was a Field Operation Manager, traveling around the country training new agents to be successful in the field. Then in March of 2015, he was appointed to Regional Director of Sales and moved to Altig headquarters in Redmond, WA.
In 2016, he was appointed again, this time to Director of Leadership Development at the AIL-Altig leadership conference in Burnaby, British Columbia. With a focus on leadership development for newly promoted MGAS, Todd also works with leaders in 10 different territories, helping develop their organizations through strategic growth and production plans.
“I look forward to helping each person that starts with this company reach their goals by learning to push themselves outside of their comfort zones,” he says.
Todd currently lives in Redmond, WA, with his wife, Lydia, and two sons. He enjoys riding his motorcycle, golfing, wake surfing, and teaching his sons how to play sports.
