Mr. Folkertsma joined Altig in 1995 and began serving on the Executive Council in the same year. In addition to overseeing the Accounting Department, his primary roles are financial analysis, forecasting and cash management. Phil's excellent written communication skills consistently impact our sales force. His memos, production reports and motivational communiqu�s are a highlight of every associate's week. Mr. Folkertsma previously worked as a CPA for five years at a public accounting firm and three years as a Finance Director for a Puget Sound based corporation. Phillip holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Seattle Pacific University and a MBA in Finance and Management from Seattle University. Phillip currently directs the Men's ministry at his church and is an active participant in the drama department, performing in several productions each year. He is also a writer, completing his first non-fiction novel in 2003. He lives with his wife, Karen, and their children in Bothell, Washington. |
