Richard "Rick" Altig, Jr. is Chairman of Altig. In 1982, after college, Mr. Altig joined his father's new company representing American Income Life in Seattle, Washington. Starting as a sales associate, Rick quickly became a manager and took on the Public Relations responsibilities. In 1984, Rick became the youngest exclusive provider of American Income in the history of the company. When his father moved to oversee the Canadian operations, Rick took the lead as President and CEO of Altig. Over the last 20 years, Rick has guided the company from a single office in Washington state to an international record breaking sales force. Rick's visionary leadership and commitment has paved the way that now encompasses 19 states and 7 provinces. Altig has set all American Income Life records for sales and public relations. Mr. Altig continues to be a driving force in American Income Life. He serves on the AIL Executive Council, is a personal mentor to several State Directors and is responsible for many of the key innovations now employed by American Income. Rick currently serves on several community boards and is an active member of his local church. He lives on the "Altig Family Farm" in Kirkland, Washington with his wife and four children.
