With a background in education and school administration, Richard Altig Sr. was introduced to American Income in 1981 by a friend. With no experience in the insurance field, AIL's system of providing qualified leads motivated him to give it a try. With a sincere concern for others and an enthusiasm for helping people in such a meaningful way, Dick was soon enjoying an income far exceeding that of his academic career, with an earning potential that was truly unlimited. Mr. Altig soon earned the designation of SGA for the Seattle area, thus beginning Altig's future growth and expansion. Starting Altig, Dick Altig and Rick Altig brought on some key people, began to grow, acquired more territory, opened new markets and recruited quality associates. On their own initiative, they opened Canada for American Income. Consistently ranked number one in all of American Income sales, Altig represented over 20% of American Income's annual sales while serving only 12% of the total population. |
